These are general recovery housing questions, subject to change per individual treatment provider programs.

What am I permitted to bring?

What items are forbidden in ARH?

As space is limited and we want all of our residents to be as comfortable as possible, please follow these guidelines:

  • Clothing: Each resident may have 7 shirts, 7 pair of pants, 7 sets of pajamas, 3 pair of shoes, 2 jackets/hoodies, 2 dress outfits, undergarments and socks.
  • Toiletries that do not contain alcohol
  • Reading items, coloring or d

  • Cell phones are permitted

No electronics, other than a cell phone are permitted without approval.

  • Please DO NOT bring additional items, as they will no be permitted in housing. Accredited Recovery Housing is NOT responsible for items brought into housing.

  • Drugs and/or paraphernalia, alcohol
  • Hygiene products that contain alcohol
  • Weapons of any kind, including knives
  • Gaming systems and/or personal televisions

Residents are normally permitted to work if their Treatment Program allows. It's strongly recommended patients prioritize their recovery during this time.

  • The work schedule MUST allow residents to return to housing by 10:00 PM curfew daily and cannot interfere with their treatment schedule.

Residents are permitted to sign-out of housing during various phases of their stay. 

  • Daily curfew is 10:00 PM for most residents.

Can I have a car?

Residents are permitted to have a vehicle during various phases of their housing stay, with the following stipulations:

  • Residents maintain a valid driver's license and active insurance. 

These items are required to be current and on file with ARH at all times.

Residents of Accredited Recovery Housing are NOT permitted visitors during their stay. 

  •  Residents are encouraged to spend time with sober support and family once they are able to sign out of housing.
